Suzuki Deutschland GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese Suzuki Motor Corporation, with a particular focus on compact cars, all-wheel drive, and hybrid technologies. In 1964, Suzuki initially began distributing motorcycles and marine products in Germany before introducing the first Suzuki automobiles to the German market in 1980. Today, Suzuki Deutschland manages the nationwide operations of its three business divisions – Automobile, Motorcycle, and Marine – from its headquarters in Bensheim, Hesse. Suzuki embodies excitement, straightforward, value, spirit and sporty. To bring these values to life on the road, all vehicle concepts are designed to meet the daily needs of customers – rooted in decades of experience and a passion for innovation. Since 2023, Suzuki Deutschland has served as the exclusive general sponsor of the German Triathlon Union (DTU), the national association for triathlon sports. As part of this commitment, the Japanese mobility provider acts as the title sponsor of the world's largest triathlon, held annually in Hamburg, where up to 10,000 athletes compete. In addition, Suzuki's sponsorship extends to the German national triathlon teams, the 1st Triathlon Bundesliga, the TriathlonD event series, and the German Championships in Cross-Triathlon and Cross-Duathlon. Since the 2023/24 season, Suzuki Deutschland has also been an official premium and mobility partner of the second-division football club SV Darmstadt 98, further strengthening its ties to the Southern Hesse region around its headquarters in Bensheim.
